David Bashaw
David Bashaw has over 25 years experience in top-level Management and Marketing roles. As Gillette's President/GM in Japan, and Europe Group Business VP, David offers a diverse and unique base of knowledge and experience. Living and working in England, Switzerland, and Japan, provided him with a solid foundation in International Business, and a rich multi-cultural perspective.
A results-driven executive, David built an excellent track record of delivering sales and profit growth; building market share; and achieving business objectives. Known and rated highly for strong marketing and strategic skills, exceptional people development, and an effective communicator/presenter, he led major business turnarounds across multiple business segments and geographies during his time with SC Johnson & Sons, The Gillette Company, and Procter & Gamble.
While with Gillette/P&G, David had functional responsibility for marketing, logistics/supply, category management, sales, and finance. David was also an internal instructor, speaker/presenter, and/or judge for a number of corporate training programs. As a result of this very broad and diverse background, David brings a broad perspective and unique set of solutions to solving a variety of business problems.
David has his own consulting business and was keynote speaker at a global conference for McKinsey Consulting.
David received a B.S. with a double major in Marketing and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, and matriculated in the MBA program at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
David has been a co-facilitator for The Board Forum CEO Roundtables since 2008.
