James Buchanan
Jim Buchanan is Chief Executive Officer and Chair of ZoneLabs, Inc., a biotech company in Danvers, Massachusetts. Creating world-class brands and companies, Jim has successfully leveraged assets across both public and private industry sectors including, consumer packaged goods, high-tech, life sciences and software.
Corporate leadership positions have included Chief Executive Officer and Director of Biostream, Inc. an early stage specialty pharmaceutical company, a founding member of S&H GreenPoints (the digital reincarnation of S&H Greenstamps), Managing Director of Hasbro Interactive, and President and board member of Hyde Athletic Industries (makers of Saucony, Spot-Bilt, Merlin, Brookfield and Hyde Athletic products).
Jim has also served as Director of Marketing New Ventures as well as European Marketing Vice President at General Mills. Prior to graduate and undergraduate school, Jim served in Vietnam with the United States Marine Corps.
Jim is a board member and trustee of the William Guy Forbeck Cancer Research Foundation. An accomplished cyclist, he was selected to participate with Lance Armstrong in the 2003 Tour of Hope. The team of 26, including Armstrong, cycled across the country in eight days to raise awareness for cancer research.
Jim has been a co-facilitator for The Board Forum CEO Roundtables since 2005.
