Kathie Newhall
Kathie Newhall is CEO and owner of Holiday Hang-Ups, incorporated in 1991, the company manufactures a patented magnetic hook designed for hanging wreaths. Kathie brings 17 successful years of combined entrepreneurial, problem solving, and product launching industry knowledge. Kathie brings critical experience in developing successful strategies for competing with an ever-growing product imitation market and global manufacturing.
Kathy created a streamlined 30-employee assembly plant, designed plant fixtures, established an efficient distribution center, dovetailed inventory and accounting functions, designed packaging, and has sold well over 1,000,000 items using in house marketing materials and sales strategies.
After Holiday Hang-Ups was awarded "Best Product" in the QVC Network's 1997 search for new products, Kathie became a regular on QVC, now selling for 13 years strong. Sales have consistently increased over the past 17 years and the business has remained extremely profitable.
Kathie attended Western Michigan University and her career ranged from the Midwest car industry to Boston's financial district, including Chrysler Corporation, Walt Disney World, Premier Industrial Corporation and American Express.
Kathie has been a co-facilitator for The Board Forum CEO Roundtables since 2007.
